YOUTH SERVICE

The Youth Service operates in Astley Community High School through the Community Education Department, based in the office next to the rear entrance by the Main Hall. We organise lots of different activities for young people to take partin after school.

We will offer the following activities over the next year:

 

Astley Youth Club Mondays 6.30 – 9.30pm

This is a general drop-in youth club with pool, table tennis and a programme of activities based on young peoples choices. This club will be open through the summer holidays.

Astley Sports Night & Youth Club Tuesdays 6.00 – 9.00pm

This is a general drop-in with football, swimming, youth club with pool, table tennis and a programme of activities based on young peoples choices. Starts September.

Girls Group at Astley Wednesdays 3.30 – 5.00pm

Fun activities – including cookery, hair and beauty, arts and crafts, girl’s issues, health and fitness and much more. All welcome just come to the Youth Block.

Seaton Sluice Youth Club Wednesdays 7.15 - 9.15pm

A general youth club based at Seaton Sluice Community Centre. Activities will be organised according to the priorities young people themselves identify. This might be arts, drama, video, sports or trips out. This club will be open through the summer holidays.

All youth clubs are open from the beginning of July and you are welcome to attend. They will run throughout the summer holidays and there might be additional organised trips that you can join in.
