Seaton Delaval Hall

Seaton Delaval Hall

Seaton Delaval Hall, one of Northumberlandís greatest and most romantic houses, has a long and magnificent history.

The community around it have played an important part in its life ever since it was built by architect, Sir John Vanbrugh, in the 1720s.

Seaton Delaval Hall is one of the North Eastís greatest historical treasures. For 18 months the National Trust campaigned to save the Hall, gardens and grounds for the public to enjoy forever. Thanks to your help, in December 2009 we did it and we opened for the first time on May 1st 2010.
