Ted Weekes
Funding now available read more ....
The Fund was established in 2002 and makes annual awards in support of children and young people's projects based in the areas of New Hartley and Seaton Sluice. To date grants totalling nearly £60,000 have been awarded to local community groups across a variety of projects including sports, school holiday activity programmes, arts projects, and IT equipment.
It is keen to fund out of school activities that offer children and young people opportunities that encourage their social and personal development.
Grants from £250 to £2,000 are available for equipment and resources for activities, external support, small running costs (for example room hire or sessional worker costs), and inspirational trips or visits.
To qualify groups need to have a constitution, set of accounts and a child protection policy for further guidance on applying to the Ted Weekes Fund at the Community Foundation please visit our website www.communityfoundation.org.uk.
Closing date for the next round is Friday 19 March 2010.
If you would like to discuss a project or need assistance with the application please call
